InoviaPods’ modular bathroom units can contribute heavily towards the diversion of construction materials from disposal as necessary to achieve MR Credits 2.1 & 2.2. Our off-site manufacturing process contributes zero waste towards the project job-site which significantly adds to the percentage of overall materials diverted.
Building / Materials Reuse
InoviaPods’ bathrooms are a fully reusable plug & play unit that can adapt to the changing needs of a client’s workspace. InoviaPods can be disconnected from the main building system as easy as they were installed for relocation to another area in the building or even relocation to a different job-site. Reuse of the bathroom InoviaPods can single handedly contribute the percentage of materials reuse required to meet MR Credits 3.1 & 3.2 as well as contribute heavily towards MR Credit 1.3 of maintaining interior non-structural elements.
Recycled Content
InoviaPods’ bathrooms incorporate numerous green building products to help meet your project’s recycling goals. Material with high recycling content like cold formed metal framing (17% pre-consumer, 37% post-consumer) & tile (60% pre-consumer, 3% post-consumer) are just some of the ways we can help contribute to your overall LEED goal for MR Credits 4.1 & 4.2.
Water Use Reduction
InoviaPods’ bathrooms commonly specify WaterSense plumbing fixtures certified by the EPA for increased efficiency & reduction in water usage. Dual-flush toilets, eco-performance showers, & improved flow rate faucets all are standard in our bathroom POD design which can contribute heavily towards LEED credits WE 3.1 & 3.2 for water use reduction.
Low-Emitting Materials
InoviaPods’ is always conscious of VOC content limits when selecting materials for your bathroom POD project. All adhesives & sealants utilized in our POD construction can comply with LEED EQ Credit 4.1 for maintaining indoor air quality. The same applies for our paints & coatings, carpet systems (if applicable), & composite wood systems in regards to LEED EQ Credits 4.2, 4.3, & 4.4.
